Absolutely. We will provide you will a sample URL where you can visit at any time and see your website, and watch its progress as it is built.
Do I have complete control over how my site looks?
Yes, you do. You have the final say over every single aspect of your website.
Can I see examples of your work?

I want an extra feature for my site that is not included in a web design package. Will this cost extra?
Extra features that are not included in your choice of Painted Turtle's web design packages require an extra fee. Please inquire for pricing.
What information do you need from me in order to design my site?
Firstly, we will ask you several questions about the layout, or the "look and feel" of your website. What colors are you partial to? What websites do you like, enjoy visiting, and find the design of appealing? Are any specific fonts you would like used? Are there any special features that you definitely want featured on your site? Is there anything you definitely don't want on your site?
Next, it is your responsibility to provide Painted Turtle with the content of your site. This includes your photos that you would like featured on your site, any text ("about us" pages, introductions, product descriptions, photo captions, etc), your logos and/or art that you would like featured on your site, etc.
It is crucial that you provide Painted Turtle with the content of your site in order to give us something to work with.
How can I pay you?
We accept most major credit and debit cards. Credit or debit card payment is handled through PayPal to ensure a secure and smooth transfer, but you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay! We also accept personal checks, money orders, and cash (well-concealed and at your own risk if mailed).
Do you require a fee to get started?
Yes, a retainer fee or "design deposit" is required before work begins on your website. This fee will go towards the total fee of the site design.
When is the final payment due?
Final payment is due after design for your site is complete and you are happy with the results, and before the website is uploaded to your server.
I don't know how to get my own domain name, and I don't know how to get it hosted. Can you help?
Yes we can! Painted Turtle Designs is pleased to offer quality domain name registration and hosting for our clients, available at a very affordable yearly fee.
I am a hobby breeder. Can you design a website for my kennel/cattery/etc?
Absolutely! We have done many kennel site designs for hobby breeders, and we welcome the opportunity to work with any responsible breeder of any species, breed, and variety.
We will not design sites for puppy or kitten mills, or any site that promotes cruelty to animals or the mistreatment of animals.
I own a small business and want to sell my products online. Can you help?
Yes, we can! We can set up a shopping cart for you, whether it be on your existing site, or a site designed by Painted Turtle. Please inquire for more details.
I am involved with a non-profit organization/club. Can you design a website for our organization?
Yes, we can! We have special package deals for non-profit organizations and clubs. Please

What type of website will you not design?
There are a few types of websites that we will not design, and these include, but are not limited to: sites promoting cruelty to animals or the mistreatment of animals; pornography or explicit content; racism; "hate" sites; sites with illegal content. We reserve the right to, at any time, refuse the design of any site in which we are not comfortable with the content.
